I have had several pieces made by Robert. I inherited some jewellery and wanted to have them remodelled so that I could wear and enjoy them. I’m thrilled with all of the items I’ve had made here, the old fashioned rings have been given a new lease of life and I now love wearing them all. I also take things in here to have them checked for valued. I have recommended Robert James Jewellers to several friends who have also been chuffed with their new items. I had my engagement ring reset and my wedding band remodelled and set with diamonds a few years ago and I still love them as much today. Robert is a true craftsman and everyone that works here are helpful, warm and welcoming. Love the dogs too!
We have had the most fantastic service from Robert right the way through our wedding planning process. First, he managed to re-size my engagement ring to fit, when no other jeweller I approached was willing to touch it - even in Hatton Garden (it's a half eternity ring, which he took down by 5 sizes!) Then he helped us to design our dream custom wedding rings. I wanted mine to match my engagement ring exactly, but in yellow gold - the result is perfect! It looks like they were made together! And my husband is equally happy with his mixed metal band with platinum & gold. I went in to Robert James last weekend and was greeted by a lovely blonde lady in a long green dress wearing glasses. On another occasion I was helped by a lady with short blonde hair with glasses showing me a few options of bracelets which my partner bought me for our anniversary present. She was friendly, helpful and honest I was querying about some hoop earrings. She was kind and helpful, she showed me a few different options within my price range. She ordered them in for me and I love them! I would definitely recommend going to this jewellers for basic staples and one off beautiful keepsakes (they don’t just sell jewellery! For Harry Potter lovers).
Been in and out of this jewellers for years and always had a fantastic service. This time though Robert James jewellers have gone above and beyond with what they created for us. Took 5 beaten up old rings in and this craftsman has designed and created the most beautiful ring I have seen. The whole shop are wonderful and bubbly including the on site pooch. All I can say is if want great service and old school craftsmanship, this is the only place to go. Thanks again to all involved.
