STAY AWAY from this solicitor firm. This firm has jeopardised my first home buying and my issued mortgage offer got rejected. They didn't even bother to listen to the advise of my mortgage advisor even once. Knowing fully about the current status of mortgage rates and property market, the representatives of firm didn't even bother to communicate or take care of their client. I had to chase all the time and follow up for my needs. As if they are doing a favour to me. Even they didn't even refund my money fully in spite of their horrendous service. Both me and my wife are severely depressed on loosing out this property of our choice. I wish I would have never listened to the developer's sales person who recommended this firm to me.

When a company has enough existing clients during a boom in business it forgets basic business etiquette, and that is what thackray williams amounts to. A standard purchase of land was not registered properly and left on the back burner. When it came to selling some months later it became apparent the land was not registered properly, had to chase up TW and push them. They of course denied responsibility saying there was a backlog. Yes there is, but NOT 18 MONTHS YOU LIARS! internal complaints are a joke in most companies, and chasing up with the SRA will require time and energy so I am sure most don't follow through. I would say avoid if you can, the price does not reflect on the service. If you are stuck after using them, there is not much they will do, and what can you do ? Sue them? That takes more time, energy, effort and money. There are many more local better firms to chose from in and around Bromley. People and solicitors that still take pride in their work be it conveyancing. I for one hope they lose enough clients to make them close up for good ???? ????
I have only just realised I didn't leave a review after a house move that took place in April last year. The fact still stands that we were incredibly happy with the service provided by Marcus Beavis and his team. They were responsive to all our questions and resolved all concerns in a timely manner. We went from our buyers viewing to us moving in nine weeks and this is largely down to the diligent and timely work performed by the team. I am hoping we don't need to move again any time soon but, if we did, I would have no concerns with using Thackray Williams again.
