I bought a car from this garage recently and have been very pleased with their service, staff always polite and helpful. The car was beautifully presented but there were a couple of mechanical problems which needed to be sorted. They were dealt with under the warranty with no fuss and I was given assistance with keeping mobile while the fault was diagnosed and fixed. I have no hesitation in recommending Elmside.
NEW ISSUE ISSUE 5 – 15.03.18 Last night, when I went to get in the car to go out with him, to my dislike, the car did not switch on at the first time; I only put the car on at the 9th try. The car still losing diesel, I didn't have time before but yesterday I have took the car out and I drive to Gatwick and the car lost fuel during the trip, not the same quantity than last Sunday was a quite less. The engine malfunction light turned on twice again in the motorway, I have stopped and switch off the car and when I switch on the light have disappeared suddenly. We are extremely disappointed and unhappy with the car you have sold us. Since purchasing the car on 19.12.2017, at the point of purchase I paid £3350. We have had numerous problems with the vehicle.
I purchased a car at this garage nearly two years ago and bring it back for its yearly service, MOT and any other work that's needed. The car itself was set at a very fair price and has been a very good runner so far. The very few issues (Air con & battery) it has had were resolved within the same day at a very reasonable price. The service manager Amer is always very helpful on the phone and their mechanic Garry also knows his stuff. I was lucky and they offered me a courtesy car so I could still get to work. I don't quite understand the bad reviews this garage has had as all parts that have been changed on my car have 100% been changed! Thanks for all the help so far and I will be continuing to use this garage for all my work!
